Post Cards available at TRB...
When I first opened the shop, customers, on a regular basis, asked where they could find post cards of Apex. At first I would say "try the local pharmacy or convenience store" and they would say "they sent me here". So with that I checked about town and discovered that to the knowledge of those that were life long residents of Apex, no one could never recall seeing post cards of or about the community. So I decided that needed to be changed and The Rusty Bucket was just the shop to change the fact Apex did not have any post cards.
A local photo artist, simply know as Duffy, has taken the most amazing pictures of the Town of Apex, Historic Downtown Salem Street and the surrounding countryside for our post cards. We have been offering our customers post cards ever since 2006 and they have been a hit.
Post Cards of the Caboose and Maynard Pearson House, owned and operated by the Apex Historical Society, are available. One Hundred Percent (100%) of the proceeds from the sale of these cards and any future cards of the Society are donated to the Apex Historical Society.
Starting in September 2009 I began offering the “Post Card of the Month” and will be featuring a new Post Card of Apex or the surrounding country side each month. So stay tuned and drop by the shop to see and pickup the “Post Card of the Month”.
